Shakespeare and Wales

At Chapter Arts Centre in Cardiff on April 3rd, Grahame Davies chaired a discussion about Shakespeare and Wales.

The evening was organised by the British Council as part of the programme of events to mark 400 years since the dramatist's death.

The discussion was preceded by a showing of Kenneth Branagh's film Henry V, which features the Welsh character Fluellen as well as several discussions of Welsh identity.

The panel for the discussion comprised the poet Gwyneth Lewis, the actor Rakie Ayola and the researcher and producer Siobhan Brennan.
