'Arrival at Elsewhere' pandemic poem project

Grahame Davies has contributed to a new book-length poem, 'Arrival at Elsewhere', curated by Carl Griffin as a response tot eh Covid pandemic.

In the poem, a hundred poets from across the world respond to the experience of the pandemic in a single long poem compiled from their extracts by Carl Griffin.

The authors, who include T.S. Eliot Award winners Philip Gross and George Szirtes, provide their own perspectives on the crisis, which Griffin describes as "Not a definitive voice, nor an authoritative one. But a contrasting, contradicting, confused voice, set both in the UK and everywhere else, represented by one narrator who, just like the rest of us, is made up of a hundred different people. A narrator cohesive only in his/her/their contemplation of Elsewhere."

The book, published by Against the Grain, is priced at £9.99 and the non-profit project will contribute all profits to NHS Charities Together.
