Bursary to write English version of novel

The Academi Academi, the Literature promotion Agency for Wales, has awarded Grahame Davies a Writer's Bursary to work on the English version of his first novel, Rhaid i Bopeth Newid ('Everything Must Change'), which appeared in August 2004. The novel tells the story of the French philosopher and political activist Simone Weil, and intercuts this with the story of a fictional contemprary Welsh language activist who has been inspired by Weil's example.
