Lecture and reading in Canada

I gave a lecture about Jewish Writers of Wales in a conference entitled Culture and the State in the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada, between May 2 and 5. This was my first visit to Canada - if I don't count the fact that I did step onto Canadian territory for a few minutes when visiting Niagara Falls in 2002. I also did a poetry reading during the trip.

I am grateful to the University of Alberta for the invitation and to the British Council in Canada for their assistance. I really enjoyed the journey, and it was great to have the company of Mark Leslie Woods on an unforgettable journey through the Rockies for a couple of days. I hope to make it back to Canada some time in the future.
