18/11/2018 New York and Edinburgh premieres for 'The Souls of the Righteous' On September 22nd in St Mary's Cathedral, Edinburgh, the premiere took place of a new choral work by Paul Mealor with words by Grahame Davies. 'The Souls of the Righteous' is a Requiem commissioned by the Chapel Royal of Scotland to commemorate the centenary of the Armistice. The American premiere took place in Carnegie Hall in New York on Armistice day itself, November 11th, conducted by Paul Mealor, with a choir of 220 and the Distinguished Concerts Singers International and the Distinguished Concerts Orchestra.

was broadcast on Classic FM on
Remembrance Sunday, November 11th at 7pm.
