Song in memory of 16-year-old Jutland hero.

On March 13th, in Horseguards Parade on Whitehall in London, the Commonwealth Youth Choir and the band of the Coldstream Guards performed the song 'Jack', composed by the choir's musical director, Paul Carroll, to words by Grahame Davies.

The song commemorates Jack Cornwell, a 16-year-old sailor who won the Victoria Cross for his bravery in the Battle of Jutland in 1916. He died of the wounds he received in the battle.

The performance in London was part of the celebrations of Commonwealth Day.
