Temenos Academy lecture.

On February 11th, Grahame Davies and Kevin Crossley Holland gave a joint presentation at the Temenos Academy at the Lincoln Centre in Lincoln's Inn Fields in London.

The event was organised by the Temenos Academy which described it as follows:

"Grahame Davies and Kevin Crossley Holland are both steeped in the pre-Christian mythology of the northwest European world – Grahame more especially in the Celtic, Kevin in the Old Norse. In conversation, and with readings from their own work as well as with some reference to 19th and 20th century (Morris, Swinburne, Arnold, Tolkien, Jones) and contemporary poets, Grahame and Kevin will point to the continuing power of motifs shared by both systems – and to a world heroic and elegiac, wild and tender, common to us all who live on the outer edge of northern Europe."

The session, held at The Lincoln Centre, Lincoln’s Inn Fields, London, was chaired by Ian Skelly. Further details here.
