Assembly launch for third poetry collection.

On October 26, 2005, at 7.30pm, Grahame Davies's third volume of Welsh-language poetry was launched at the Wales Milennium Centre, Cardiff, in an event sponsored by Academi, and with the Presiding Officer of the National Assembly for Wales, Lord Dafydd Elis-Thomas, introducing the evening.

The book is entitled Achos, which means 'Cause' and it's published by Barddas, as were his two earlier volumes, Adennill Tir and Cadwyni Rhyddid. Like those two books, many poems in Achos examine contemporary Wales, but, in addition, there are many which indicate a new direction for the poet.

The book has been featured in the magazine Golwg here, and there is a review on BBC Cymru'r Byd here. There's an account of the launch on Peter Finch's website here.
