20/05/2005 Novel nominated for £10,000 prize Grahame Davies's novel Rhaid i Bopeth Newid. was included on the long list for the £10,000 Book of the Year Award for 2005. The long list of 10 books was announced during a ceremony at the Wales Millennium Centre on March 3rd. The short list of three was announced in May, and comprised three novels: Caryl Lewis's Martha Jac a Sianco, Bethan Gwanas's Hi yw fy Ffrind and Elin Llwyd Morgan's Rhwng y Nefoedd a Las Vegas.
